New Capabilities in Risk and Compliance
Merkle Science
We’re thrilled to announce a series of powerful updates to Merkle Science’s blockchain analytics tools, Compass and Tracker, designed to give you greater control, flexibility, and insight into your risk management and investigation processes.
Compass Updates
Custom Lists:
We’re introducing a new feature in Compass that allows you to go beyond traditional whitelists and blacklists by creating custom lists tailored to different risk levels. Once an address is added to a list, it will automatically inherit that list’s risk level without needing to run additional rules. Additionally, any address with direct exposure to an address on your custom list will trigger an alert at the designated risk level. All other standard rules will continue to run as usual.
Customer Rules:
You now have the ability to create rules specifically for your customers. In this update, we have introduced the customer risk policy type, providing more nuanced control over how rules are applied across your customer base.
Transaction Preview Modal:
We’ve added a transaction preview modal that allows you to quickly view a transaction’s overview without triggering a full screening. This feature is designed to reduce the number of irrelevant alerts, making your workflow more efficient. If needed, you can still initiate a screening directly from the preview box.
Customer Proof of Reserves:
You can now view balance and transaction volumes at both the address level and customer level from the Customer tab, providing a clearer picture of your customers’ reserves. Watch Explainer Video
Tracker Updates
Entity Search:
We’ve enhanced the search functionality to allow you to search for entities within our existing search bar. You’ll be able to pull up detailed information on clusters we’ve tagged for those entities across all supported blockchains, streamlining your investigative processes.
BTC Address Page Revamp:
The BTC Address Page in Tracker is getting a complete overhaul. The revamped page will now display a broader range of information, including Replace-By-Fee (RBF), locktime, protocol version, and a more accessible view of the number of inputs and outputs in each transaction. This update will significantly enhance your ability to analyze BTC transactions with greater depth and clarity. Watch Explainer Video
These updates are designed to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and control users have over their risk management and compliance efforts, ultimately helping them better protect their organizations and customers.
